Take a STand.  Be AuThenTic.  Have No ReGreTs.
(My great Aunt Dorothy Fialho)

Western Dove was inspired by my great grandmother who celebrated her 103nd birthday on July 3rd, 2011. Her name is Dove;  I inherited Dove as my middle name, and passed it on to my youngest daughter Delaney Dove.
My great grandmother is a fiercly independant woman who went from an orphan surviving the dust bowl of Oklahoma to a wealthy business and property owner in California. Her two daughters influenced me in many ways. My grandmother is an artist and a lover of all things Turquoise and Native American.
My Aunt has been a cowgirl since she was an itty bitty girl. She was an avid barrel racer and competed in everything from team roping to cutting, and made sure I was always horseback too. Her daughter Barbara is also an amazing horsewoman who had much success as a barrel racer and is now an avid cutter. She is married to Bobby Cotta, a cutting horse trainer, and they have a great facility in Hilmar, CA.

I have an artists heart and a cowgirls soul - the fusion became Western Dove. Every item I carry was either made and designed by me, or picked out because its something I would wear myself!
I am not about following trends, but rather following my heart. If everyone is doing it and wearing it, I want something different.   Clothes, jewelry, and tack are yet another avenue we have to express our style.....  koodos for anyone willing to take a stand and make a statement.

In between raising a family and going to barrel races, I work on the culture Western Dove represents. Its about timeless style, an authentic spirit, and putting together the whole shabang!
